Hiking in the Hills
or Mountain Biking
For those who love hiking or cycling, the area surrounding Kuralemu is the ideal place to explore trails in a natural environment, respecting the local flora and fauna. You can enjoy the fresh air and unique coastal mountain landscapes that the region has to offer.

Options to consider include visits to the San Mateo Community and Recreational Park, where they work every day to add trees to their grounds, with the aim of creating
the first green lung in Curacaví.

You can also go hiking in the area prepared by Sendero Cumbre del Sol, where you will find endless trails designed especially for hiking, as well as mountain bike trails (XC, Enduro and Downhill) for those who want to test their skills downhill with an extra touch of adrenaline.
Tours to Organic Vineyards in Curacaví or Casablanca
To enrich your holiday, we recommend visiting vineyards in the Casablanca or Curacaví valleys, enjoying walks among the vines, admiring the valley surroundings, touring the wineries, attending tastings, and learning about the winemaking process.
We can advise you on booking guided tours in your language and recommend the best organic vineyards in the area.
Local crafts
The small village of Pomaire, 45 minutes from Kuralemu, is notable, among other things, for its local artisans who work with clay in Greda.
You can explore the area to enjoy the creations of local artisans.
The pottery of the area is characterised by its reddish hue and smooth, shiny surface.
Its pottery tradition dates back to before the arrival of the Spanish.
You can find pots, pans, ornaments and decorative items, notably the ‘chanchitos’, made in the shape of three-legged pigs, which are said to bring good luck to those who receive them as a gift (we give one to each guest...).
Traditional Chilean Cuisine
Near Kuralemu, you can find a variety of culinary options to enjoy typical Chilean dishes prepared by local families: empanadas baked in clay ovens, corn pie, hearty homemade dishes, classic sweets,
and the ever-present grape chicha stored in clay jars.
You can also visit sweet factories, artisan chocolate makers and chicherías.
Among the places we suggest visiting are: Los Hornitos and El Quillay, classic restaurants on Route 68; Chocolateria Mucanè, a traditional chocolate shop; In the small food court ‘La Casona’ you will find a young chef with his restaurant ‘Franco sDulces Sandy’, Dulcería La Encina and the inevitable tours of traditional local chicherías such as: ‘El Criollo de la Viña’, Valladares, Hugo Toro, Del Puangue, and many more.
These and many other typical and delicious options await you in the Curacaví Valley.
